The IIT Jammu Research Internship 2025 in Sciences and Engineering: An Undergraduate Program (RISE-UP) is an esteemed research-focused internship designed for undergraduate and postgraduate students across India. This offline program provides selected students with the opportunity to work on live research problems under the mentorship of IIT Jammu faculty members.

Eligibility Criteria
The internship is open to non-IIT Jammu students pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate degrees in relevant fields. Preference will be given to students with strong academic records and demonstrated technical skills.
Academic Requirements:

How to Apply: Step-by-Step Process
Step 1: Choose Projects

- Choose one primary project and one alternate project of interest.
Step 2: Gather Required Documents
The following documents are to be uploaded during the application:
- Academic transcripts
- Updated one-page CV
- Bonafide Certificate (signed and stamped by Head of Department/Institution)
- Parent Declaration Form (authorizing travel and participation)
- Any additional certificates or documents showcasing technical skills or research experience

Step 3: Submit Online Application
- Visit https://apply.iitjammu.ac.in/#/register/intern
- Fill in your personal, academic, and project preference details
- Upload all required documents in appropriate format
- Review the form before final submission
Step 4: Final Submission
- No corrections or updates can be made once the form is submitted
- Incomplete, incorrect, or duplicate applications will be rejected
- Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered
Step 5: Wait for Result
- Results will be declared on or before April 30, 2025
- Selected students will be notified via email and the list will be published on the website

Accommodation and Mess Facilities

Stipend and Financial Support
- All selected interns will receive a monthly stipend of ₹13,000 during the internship period.
- No additional travel or contingency support will be provided.
