Who Can Apply – Eligibility Criteria
The internship is divided into two main categories — the General Internship Scheme and the Student Project Trainee Scheme — each with separate eligibility norms.
1. General Internship Scheme
- Nationality: Must be an Indian citizen
 - Education Level: UG, PG, or Ph.D. students from recognised universities in India or abroad
 - Academic Requirement: Minimum 60% aggregate marks or 6.32 CGPA (scale of 10)
 - Course Field: Science/Technology disciplines relevant to IIRS activities
 - Recent Graduates: Those who have completed their course within 6 months of applying are also eligible
 - Minimum Duration: 45 days
 
2. Student Project Trainee Scheme (Course-Specific Requirements)

 - No Individual Communication: Non-selected applicants will not be informed separately.
