Internship Guidelines & Important Notes

  1. Duration & Stipend:

  2. Extension:
    • Interns may request an extension, subject to lab approval and infrastructure availability.
    • No stipend is provided beyond 6 months.
  3. Work Rules:

    • Interns will only access non-classified areas.
    • Must comply with the Indian Official Secrets Act, 1923, and DRDO rules.
    • Breach of regulations can lead to termination without notice.
    • Attendance is mandatory; leave is allowed only in case of illness with valid proof.
  4. Responsibilities:
    • Interns must handle DRDO equipment carefully; damages must be compensated.
    • Interns are prohibited from publishing or sharing confidential information.
    • Completion of the internship does not guarantee employment at DRDO.
