This internship is designed for students pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Science, Engineering, and Humanities.

    Overview of BGSRP 2025

    The program is hosted by Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani, K K Birla Goa Campus, which is a prestigious institution known for cutting-edge research and academic excellence. Selected candidates will work on specific projects, gaining hands-on experience and exposure to the latest research methodologies.

    Program Duration

    The BGSRP 2025 internship will be conducted offline from the 1st week of June 2025 to the last week of July 2025, with a maximum duration of 60 days.

    Eligibility Criteria

    To apply for BGSRP 2025, candidates must meet the following requirements:

    • Must be an Indian citizen.
    • Should be pursuing Undergraduate (UG) or Postgraduate (PG) degrees from a recognized institution in India or abroad.
    • Recent graduates (within six months of obtaining their degree) seeking research experience for profile enhancement may also apply.
    • Must have a minimum aggregate of 60% or a CGPA of 6.32 on a 10-point scale at all levels.
    • Students from the following disciplines are encouraged to apply:
      • Engineering: Computer Science & Information Systems, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.
      • Sciences: Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics.
      • Humanities & Social Sciences: Economics and Finance, Humanities & Social Sciences.
    • Preference will be given to candidates who are KVPY/DST INSPIRE fellows.
