    How to Apply

    Follow the steps below to apply correctly:

    Step 1: Download the Application Form (Page 4,5)

    Step 2: Fill the Form

    • Open the .docx format form provided.
    • Do not sign the application form.
    • Fill in all personal, academic, and internship-related details.

    Step 3: Name Your File

    • Save the file as: yournameYYYY.docx
      (Example: rahulkumar1988.docx for Rahul Kumar born in 1988)

    Step 4: Attach Required Documents

    Attach scanned copies (where applicable) of the following:

    • 10th Marksheet
    • Latest Semester Marksheet
    • Character Certificate
    • Letter of Recommendation (LOR from Head of Department)
    • Updated Resume (CV)
    • College ID Card
    • Aadhar Card

    Step 5: Email Your Application

    Send all documents along with the filled application form to:

    Only applications sent in .docx format will be accepted. PDFs or scanned copies will be rejected.


    Selection Process

    • Mode of Selection: Interview-based
    • Only shortlisted candidates will receive interview invites via email.
    • Shortlisting is based on academic performance, relevance to the domain, and completeness of application.

    Important Guidelines & Terms

    1. No automatic job offer: Internship does not guarantee employment at DRDO.
    2. Confidentiality required: Interns must follow DRDO’s data and information security protocols. Disclosure of sensitive information may lead to legal consequences under the Official Secrets Act.
    3. Attendance & Leave:
      • Regular attendance is mandatory.
      • Only sick leave with a valid medical prescription is allowed.
      • National holidays are observed as per the lab schedule.
    4. Lab Access: Interns will only access non-classified areas and information.
    5. Property Care: Interns must handle lab equipment responsibly. Any damage must be compensated.
    6. Publication Prohibition: Interns must not publish or share internship-related information in any form without permission.
    7. Extension Clause: Internship period may be extended up to a maximum of 6 months upon request, but no additional stipend is granted beyond 6 months.
