    Student Projects

    For students seeking project work at ISRO, the following eligibility criteria apply:

    Application Process

    Interested candidates must follow these steps to apply:

    1. Prepare the Required Documents
      • Letter of Recommendation from Head of Department/Principal/Placement Officer.
      • Resume/CV including academic scores from 10th class onwards.
      • Copies of all mark sheets and relevant academic certificates.
    2. Send an Email Application
      • Email all documents to student[at]nrsc[dot]gov[dot]in.
      • Clearly mention start and end dates of the internship/project in the email.
      • Applications should be sent at least 30 days in advance.
    3. Selection Process
      • Selected students will receive a confirmation email.
      • Further communication will be done through email only.
    4. Joining Formalities
      • Selected students must confirm their joining date as per the approval letter.
      • Verification of original certificates will be done at the time of joining.

    Certification and Completion Requirements

    • Students must complete a Project Report and submit soft and hard copies at ISRO.
    • A Project Completion Certificate will be issued by the Student Projects & Interface Division (SPID) after final submission.
    • Students must conduct a Project Closure Presentation before completion.
    • Printing and photocopying of reports must be done outside ISRO.
    • Clearance of No Dues formalities is mandatory before leaving.

    Important Deadlines

    • Applications must be sent at least 30 days before the intended start date.
    • Limited seats are available, so early applications are recommended.

    Stipend and Other Facilities

    • ISRO does not provide any financial assistance for internships.
    • No accommodation, transport, or food services are provided, but food is available at subsidized rates at ISRO facilities.
    • Work locations may be at Jeedimetla or Shadnagar, depending on project allocation.

    General Guidelines

    • Students must apply only through the designated email (student@nrsc.gov.in). Sending emails to multiple ISRO addresses may lead to disqualification.
    • Each college can send a maximum of eight UG students per branch and six PG students per institute.
    • Internships and projects are strictly offline, requiring full-time presence at ISRO facilities.
