ISRO’s U R Rao Satellite Centre (URSC), Bengaluru, is now inviting applications for its prestigious ISRO URSC Internship 2025. Aimed at fostering hands-on learning as per the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, this program offers students a rare opportunity to work closely with ISRO scientists on real-world space research and engineering projects.


Internship Overview

The URSC Internship Programme is designed to support undergraduate, postgraduate, and PhD students in gaining exposure to applied science and research in space technologies. The internship period ranges from 15 to 45 days, depending on project availability and the student’s academic calendar.

Eligibility?

To be eligible for the URSC Internship Programme 2025, applicants must satisfy any one of the following conditions:

  • Must be an Indian citizen
  • Pursuing UG/PG/PhD from a recognized university/institution (India or abroad)
  • Completed UG/PG from a recognized university (within 6 months prior to application)
  • Enrolled in a regular on-campus programme (not distance/online)
  • Completed UG/PG/PhD as a regular on-campus student
  • Must have an aggregate minimum of 60% marks or CGPA of 6.32/10
  • The course specialization must be relevant to URSC projects (engineering, science, tech disciplines)

Note: Students currently in 5th semester or 3rd year onwards are preferred for application.

    • Should be signed and sealed by the institution head

  3. Login as Registered User

    • Preferred internship dates
    • Relevant project interest (if applicable)
  5. Upload Required Documents
    Ensure the documents are clear, legible, and in the prescribed format (preferably PDF).
  6. Submit the Application
    After reviewing all details, submit the application. A confirmation message/email will be sent.

  • Certificate will be issued only upon satisfactory performance and submission
